Staffing Coordinator - Skilled Nursing Facility

The anticipated pay range for candidates who will work in California is $24.00 to $26.00.  The offered pay to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc. 

We are looking for an experienced, Full-Time Staffing Coordinator.

Responsibilities:

  • Models a positive and professional image that emulates the organization's mission and encourages a spirit of cooperation with co-workers.
  • Enters scheduling data, creates schedules.
  • Assist with NHPPD audits.
  • Communicate with staffing agencies to ensure facility is properly staffed
  • Deal with staff call-outs appropriately by following proper protocol.
  • Ensure enough nurses and medical personnel are available to meet the needs of patients. As well as coordinate & plan staff schedules, taking staff needs into consideration.
  • Assist with recruitment as needed.  
  • Assist with the facility’s infection control program in accordance with current company policies and procedures, ensuring that facility is in compliance with current CDC, OSHA, and local regulations concerning infection control.
  • Assist Director of Staff Development in developing curriculum used by the facility. Submit to state agency as required.
  • Ensures adherence to state and federal regulations and company policies and procedures; HIPAA confidentiality standards of resident and facility information; Infection Control, Universal Precautions, OSHA and safety standards; established safety precautions and regulations in the performance of tasks and the use of equipment and supplies. 

Qualifications:

  • Min. 3 years’ experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), acute care or hospital environment preferred
  • Ability to understand and follow applicable regulations, policies and procedures fully and consistently. 
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and be discreet.
  • Must be able to multi-task and handle pressure.
  • Must be able to follow instructions and to accept feedback.
